Welcome to Handmade on the South Coast's Art Gallery

Terracotta Roses

Terracotta Roses

Terracotta Roses

I started making roses and bits thirty five years ago when I lived in Canberra as a public servant. I went to Hall markets and sold them which was amazing!

I gave up the public service to start my own business and I've been making ever since.

I Moved to Tasmania in 2000 and spent 14 years trading every Saturday at the Salamanca Market. I then moved back to the mainland to Batemans Bay in 2014.

I'm semi retired now and have a permanent stall at The Moruya Country Markets every Saturday and sometimes markets in Canberra, Kiama, Berry, Huskisson and Batemans Bay.

Handmade scented terracotta roses are unique to me.

Terracotta Roses

Each rose has been  individually hand made, hand painted and kiln fired. It will look the same forever, just like a pot or plate.

They are scented with the oil from Black Boy Rose, a fragrance which last about 8 to 12 weeks and you can re-scent them with any oil you like, whenever you like, forever.

They look attractive and will add a lovely fragrance to any room, forever.

I also love making bowl cozies, to protect hands and steam vegie bags to use in the microwave.

All products used are  100% cotton fabric, microwave safe and machine washable.

You can buy my products from me at the Moruya Country Markets, or by Phone or Email.
