I'm Beth from beautiful Malua Bay! Newly married and a proud mom to a lively 2-year-old who’s been my biggest cheerleader.

I started crocheting earlier this year and quickly became hooked (pun intended!) on making amigurumi plushies. My daughter’s excitement over every creation inspired me to share my work with others.

I opened an Etsy shop, and it's been an incredible journey ever since. 

I'm now branching out into markets, bringing these little handmade bundles of joy to more people. Every plushie I create is filled with love, creativity, and a dash of fun!

I live in Tathra and my small enterprise is called : "M.I.M.S made it my self". I have been making since the age of 7 when my Gran taught me to knit and along the way Mum encouraged me to sew and my Nanna shared crochet and other crafts. Some of the most useful things I learned at secondary school were needlework and dressmaking. These skills have served me well over the years.

 M.I.M.S came about when a friend and I opened a small shop in country Victoria. Our aim was to support local craftspeople by presenting their work on consignment alongside our own. We also offered classes such as crochet, knitting, sewing, stitchery etc 

My style is eclectic. I enjoy the challenge of trying something different. I am inspired by the colours of my environment, the Sapphire coast and bushland. I describe myself as a maker and/or chronic crafter and I confess I'm a bit of an old hippie at heart. Most recently M.I.M.S has been at Wyndham Village market where I can be found at my stall in the bus shelter.
