One off Baskets/Sculptures from natural, sustainable materials from my garden.
I'm a graphic artist by trade but have always found it restrictive in imagination but with weaving & sculpture one can let their inner creativeness be free.
Over the past year since l attended a weaving workshop I have discovered many different mediums, textures & recycled materials that inspire me to craft something interesting & unique.
I find myself looking at nature in my surrounds in & around the village of Nelligen in a very different way.
Christina Barnes has been a Paper and Ink artist since 2008, originally in Canberra and now based in Bega.

I'm an Acrylic Artist that has enjoyed, as mature age student a degree in Fine Art at CSU.
I've had the privilege of teaching in Wagga, Canberra, Broulee and overseas in England. This was a great experience and a fresh eye for UK landscapes and seascapes of Ireland.
I've had solo exhibitions in Young, Wagga and Canberra and have executed many commission works over the years
My service dog -Ruby- is my constant companion and is my assistant at my ‘plein air’ painting sites
I love the sea as it is my soul resting place and my ocean views inspire me to paint most days.
