Spinners Hill Knitting

 Helen McHugh’s Mum taught her to knit when she was ten, and over the past 60+ years she has knitted countless jumpers, bonnets and bootees. 

Helen retired to Tantawangalo, and in 2022 a Canberra friend requested a beanie, which refired her knitting “mojo”. 

Since then, she has knitted over 200 (and still counting) “one-off” beanies with second-hand, donated or recycled yarns for friends and family, as well as for sale at the Candelo Markets.  

The second in the graphic novel trilogy, entitled 'The Shimmer Zone'. It is due to be published in November, but most likely later in that month.
