SUNDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2024 9AM TO 2PM - NAROOMA LEISURE CENTRE
My name's Aaron and I'm a leather worker, making leather goods from Australian tanned leather based in Cobargo, NSW.
I am passionate about making things with my hands using the best materials possible. All the items are handstitched by me using the traditional saddle stitching method. I am self taught and have been doing leather work for over 10 years.
I will often bring unfinished leather goods to the market and hand stitch them there, showing people how leather is traditionally stitched by hand.
I can also stamp peoples initials on some items or I can even let the buyer do it themselves.
The leather goods I make include: Belts, bags, camera straps, keyrings, braided bracelets, journals, kangaroo leather wallets and sometimes whips.
I love going to markets and festivals to meet people and gain inspiration about what to make and how it should look like. Trying to improve on existing designs by putting my own style on it and using some of Australia’s best tanned cowhide and kangaroo leather.
I also take custom orders and do repairs so if you have any questions please few to ask.

My name is Ayla Junor, I'm 15 years old and lived locally for 3 years.
I started making these bitsy bears when I was 10 years old and my local florist helped me to sell them.
During covid in Victoria, I started expanding my products and turned it into a little business. I started selling at local markets and people really enjoyed my work.
When I moved to Mystery Bay I started going to markets here and now stock the Tilba Treehouse and Narooma Information Centre.
I expanded my products even further, adding a range of animals and sea creatures.
I make figurines, brooches, magnets, business card holders, pen holders and jewellery stands.
I have a wide range of christmas stock including tree hangers, earrings, figurines, magnets and brooches.
All of my products are made out of polymer clay.
I really enjoy making these little bitsy's in my spare time.
