SUNDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2024 9AM TO 2PM - NAROOMA LEISURE CENTRE
My creativeness happened once I retired - not one to ‘do’ nothing - I soon set up a little ‘studio’ retreat to go & create whenever I had some spare time & it has become quite addictive pastime.
I like to make something that evokes a memory or simply brings a smile….
Searching for material on our fabulous foreshores just adds to the pleasure it brings me….. & in my creations - hopefully others.
Jennifer Salkeld has been behind the sewing machine since she was a teenager, and for her 21st birthday requested nothing more than her very own Janome machine.
Since moving to the far south coast, she have swept aside the computer from her desktop and now focuses on the joys of creating colourful clothing using quality pre-loved and reclaimed fabrics.
Her label comes from the philosophy of 'rowdy' = boisterous & fun, noisy but good natured, and 'goose' = a bird with great sense of direction and cares for others in need. Hence, each piece of Rowdygoose has a unique personality with a relaxed style.
