 I've been spinning and knitting constantly for the past 20 years after a long rest to raise children and work.

My spinning life started when I was 16 at an alternative school and I can remember knitting my sister a double cable school jumper when I was only 14 or 15.   

My beanies & uggs are handspun & knitted.  

 I love what I do and with 15-18 hours in each beanie I sometimes feel sad to see them sold.

I actually had a lad approach me one day with a photo of him in my beanie and Mount Everest in the background, What a proud moment for me. 

 Lorraine's crotchet patterns have been passed down through the generations of women from her family.
