Vee Donald grew up on the southwest coast of England, in a home where crafting was part of everyday life. Taught by her mum, Vee developed a vivid imagination and a lifelong passion for creating with her hands.
After moving to the far south coast of Australia and welcoming her daughter, Rhu Donald, Vee rekindled that creative spark—this time with a new purpose: to share the joy of crafting with the next generation.
Now, with the arrival of the fourth generation, Vee and Rhu have found fresh inspiration and are creating side by side.
Together, they showcase their work at the Handmade on the South Coast craft fair, bringing their unique pieces to a wider community.
Vee specialises in whimsical trinket houses made from air-dry clay, each one a nod to the imaginative world of her childhood.
Rhu, inspired by the birth of her own baby, creates soft and beautiful crochet babywear—practical pieces infused with love and care.
