Lorraine and Kate are long time friends and share a common interest in handmade knitting. 

 Lorraine is 3rd generation in all types of babywear and hanging crochet top tea towels. Lorraine's knitting patterns have been passed down through the generations of women from her family.

 . Kate knits teddy bears, dolls clothes and Christmas decorations.
