Beth King - Little beeloved plushies

Beth King

Little Beeloved Plushies

Little Beeloved Plushies

Beth King, hailing from the beautiful Malua Bay, is newly married and a proud mom to a lively 3-year-old who’s been her biggest cheerleader. Earlier this year, Beth started crocheting and quickly became hooked (pun intended!) on creating amigurumi plushies.

Her daughter's excitement over each handmade creation inspired her to share her work with others. This passion led Beth to open an Etsy shop, marking an incredible journey for her in the world of handmade on the South Coast.

Bosun & the Ocean

Jessica & Maja

Bosun & the Ocean

Bosun & the Ocean

We are Maja and Jess, a Danish Australian couple who’ve travelled all over the world but now call Bermagui home.

Jess was born in Bermi and grew up on the far south coast, and Maja is the Danish sailor who she fell in love with on a replica 18th century tall ship, and brought home to enjoy life in the southern hemisphere. We make art, crafts, and homewares out of the things left behind by the tides, turning driftwood, rubbish, and shells into one of a kind art while also cleaning our local beaches.

In the summer of 24-25, the MV Volition ran aground and sank off Dickinson Point in Bermagui. She was the last wooden longliner and had been working the waters off Bermagui for more than half a century. There was a massive amount of rubbish and debris that came with her sinking, and we have been cleaning up her remains ever since, everything from her massive fuel tanks and hundreds-meter-long mooring lines, to the tens of thousands of line crimps that continually wash up on our shores. While cleaning, we began to discover the beautiful ships timbers, all ancient Western-Australian Jarrah wood.

Each piece is individual and beautiful in its own way, some still featuring copper nails and bolts. We make coat hooks, jewellery hangers, and key hooks from these pieces. We also create art frames, hanging shell ornaments, oystershell magnets, and a range of other trinkets inspired by the sea. All of our products are made with sustainably and safely collected materials.

While we are inspired to create art made from what our local tides leave us, we would love the opportunity to travel in the north of Australia, where many remote beaches are completely inundated by floating rubbish, largely coming through the worlds currents from South East Asia.

We would love to use our market stall to support ourselves while we travel and take care of our beautiful beaches.

celia watkins - Mystery Bay Glass Fusing & Mosaics

Celia Watkins

In 2022 Celia decided to add glass fusing to her craft addiction to complement her mosaics, and compete for time with her knitting, crocheting, card making and beading. Since then, glass has become her addiction.

At first it was microwave kiln fusing, but in November of 2023, Celia purchased an electric kiln to fuse bigger items.

Celia also makes memorial pendants and suncatchers to order that contain cremains of people’s loved ones and pets.

This year Celia purchased a glass kiln, and her glass world has opened up further..

"Today I am still experimenting, still learning and still having fun!"

Each towel is crafted from a large hand towel which is thick and luxurious and lasts for many years.  They are completed with fine cotton and have a proper button attached and all towels are washed before and after they are crafted.

There are many colours to choose from as well as gift boxes of a hand towel, face washer and soap.  The gift boxes and individual  towels would make great xmas gifts.

dopa chocolate - Artisan drinking chocolate

Dopa Chocolate

Artisan Drinking Chocolate

Artisan Drinking Chocolate

Our story began in 2012 during a family trip to Prague, where one
unforgettable cup of hot chocolate changed everything. After a
relentless search across Europe and Australia failed to match that
magical sip, we decided to recreate it in our own kitchen.

We wanted the best of both worlds: a decadent, indulgent treat that was also organic, nutrient-rich, free from refined sugar and artificial ingredients.

After endless experiments, DOPA was finally created in 2025 with the
endless efforts of our 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter at the
time.

The name DOPA stands for dopamine and was named by the kids after researching why chocolate makes us happy.

.

The South Coast markets became our weekly routine, offering fresh hot chocolate along with many natural-flavoured drinking chocolate packs.

We hope you can feel the love and connection in every single sip.
